1. Schedule your appointment
Book your virtual fitting online and complete the intake form. This helps our team prepare by learning about your current shoes, training level, and any fit concerns before your appointment.
2. Meet with an R-Class fitter online
During your first appointment, your fitter will assess your feet, discuss your current pointe shoes, and identify any issues related to fit, support, alignment, or performance. Most first appointments take about 30 minutes per dancer
3. We build your recommendations
Using the R-Class fitting system, your fitter evaluates foot shape, toe length, toe taper, compressibility, arch flexibility, strength, current shoe wear patterns, box shape, crown height, vamp height, and shank strength — then builds a personalized recommendation based on how these variables work together.
4. We determine the best next step
In some cases we may recommend visiting a local authorized R-Class retailer. If shipping is the best option, we typically send 6 pairs for you to sample. We ask that you purchase 3 pairs upfront — this covers the cost of the pairs you keep, and unworn pairs can be returned for a refund when they arrive back to us.
5. A follow-up fitting is required
After the shoes arrive, we schedule a second virtual appointment. This follow-up is essential — we need to see you in the recommended shoes before confirming the best fit or sending additional options.
6. Try the shoes on during your follow-up
During the second appointment, place your phone or computer on the floor, or have someone help with filming, so your fitter can assess placement, support, alignment, and how the shoe functions in movement.
7. Keep what works, return the rest
Keep the shoes that fit best and return any unworn pairs that don’t work. Refunds are processed when returned shoes arrive back to us. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. If no shoes are kept, a refund is issued minus the $35 fitting fee.∙ Virtual fittings are not recommended for first-time pointe shoe fittings. For a dancer’s first pair, an in-person fitting is strongly preferred. Please visit our showroom or an authorized R-Class retailer if possible.
